Prerequisites
The only requirement to install and run Service Console is the presence of Java VM on your computer prior to starting the installation. Service Console's Setup utility is compatible with JDK 1.1. You can download the JavaSoft's Java from http://www.javasoft.com/products/jdk/1.1/jre/index.html.
